About

Nicholas Talamo is a Brooklyn-based artist whose practice is multi-disciplinary. Their processes include photography, printmaking, ceramics, and painting. By highlighting a sensitivity to touch and material, Nicholas creates work that is rooted in intimacy and memory through handmade processes. Their ongoing series of cyanotypes on silk, often drawn from collaborative portraits of queer friends in their home spaces, reflects a commitment to storytelling and human connection.

Nicholas earned a BFA in Photography from Marymount Manhattan College in 2024. Since then, they have continued to expand their interdisciplinary practice in New York, creating both large-scale cyanotypes and ceramic vessels and sculptures. In 2025, they founded Works by NET, a personal studio for ceramics, photography, printmaking, and collaborative projects.
